Some application versions (e.g. public without login) do not run in the browser at www.appsheet.com/start/… but without the www prefix - where now for 9 days basic icons are not displayed, e.g. back arrow, expand window, synchronization etc. (see picture - only magnifier is displayed) . But they are very important for the operation of the application and cannot be used without them!
Despite the urgency and insistence, what a shame it is for my users, they are still unable to do this since 10.1. to remove such a substantial and easily rectifiable defect, even though I found out what the problem was for them myself, because they were not able to.
There are other bugs that I pointed out (e.g. when Quick sync is turned on, the entered data in the form is often deleted when entering), which they are unable to solve for a month.
It follows from their approach that it is increasingly risky to develop software on this platform in the future, not only that the development does not move forward and they do not read our ideas for improvement, but they are also not able to complete the features that have been in beta version for years
(new desktop design , etc.), and now they can’t even analyze and remove errors that prevent the application from being used!
Maybe they’ll delete my post and we’ll have to negotiate somewhere else, because maybe the only way out of the crisis that Google has caused us is to take them to court and recover damages from them for years of time and damage to the company’s reputation, and lost profits.
They don’t even seem to mind that Google will look incompetent, that it is unable to pay a programmer to fix even such obvious shameful bugs immediately.
So people will probably start to leave this platform and Google in general as much as possible, new low code platforms are already being created that do not ignore their clients, and profit from how Google sleeps time.
I don’t understand why Google bought AppSheet just to bury it like this ![]()
