We’re happy to announce that Workspace users can now sign up for the Private Preview of the BYOE (Bring Your Own Email) feature!
What is this feature?
This feature allows app creators to set the From address from your automation emails, rather than using the default ‘noreply@appsheet.com’ thus improving overall reliability and security.
What are some benefits of this feature?
Spam/phishing reduction
Reduces the potential for spam and phishing attacks originating from AppSheet automation generated emails.
Enhances enterprise security
Many enterprise corporate environments have security protocols and filtering systems that block emails from senders not associated with their official corporate domains.
Who can use this Preview feature?
At present, we are only able to provide this feature for Workspace customers during this initial phase.
Note: BYOE users are not subject to the restrictions from the new out-of-domain-emails feature.
