Agent Search Data Store Indexing Considerations

I am facing considerable latency issues with Agent Search data stores.
My pipeline involves indexing of about 40 PDFs, including LayoutParser, table and image annotation, Gemini enhancement, and layout-aware chunking.
About 20% of them (admittedly, the largest ones) are stuck for more than 12 hours, as per below screenshot.

All of them raise the following indexing error.

Error logs in Observability are rather cryptic, without detailed information.
PDFs are all less than 400 pages and within the allowable file size.
Their JSONLs fully conform with the data store schema.
Even for the stuck documents, clicking “Actions” > “View Document” shows the details without any issues, including correct metadata.
My data store is already connected to an application, and both are provisioned in the EU.
I have no overdue Cloud invoices.

Have you managed to find a solution? I’m still facing the same problem.

Update: Problem still persists. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I do not own a domain yet and cannot raise a formal technical case with Google.
