I use GCP tools and have a load balancer configured with virtual machines. I’m looking for a tool in which I could review what request was sent to the server with payload and how long it took to respond. A similar tool to datadog. Does GCP have such a tool in its offer?
Hi @KamilNawrotIC ,
Welcome to Google Cloud Community!
Google Cloud Platform offers several tools that can help you monitor and analyze requests sent to your load balancer and virtual machines, including payload details and response times.
- Use Cloud Logging to capture request details (URL, headers, status, and latency) and application logs (for payloads). See Structured Logging, Writing Log Entries
- Cloud Monitoring allows you to set up dashboards and alerting for performance metrics. It integrates well with Cloud Logging and GCP services.
- Use Cloud Trace to drill into request latency across services. Distributed tracing tool, designed to analyze the time taken by requests as they flow through your system. See Overview & Setup, OpenTelemetry Integration
