"Access Denied" on my own app — I'm the owner and no one else has access

Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone can help me with a strange access problem on my own app.

The app is called Restaurante CodeLess. It’s listed in my account under My Apps, with Owner = “me” and Status = Prototype. This app is 100% mine — I created it, I own it, and no one else has access to it or has ever been shared on it.

The problem: as soon as I click on Restaurante CodeLess to open it, I immediately get the screen:

Access Denied — Your account “” id (PII Removed by Staff) does not have access to .
You might need permission to access the app — if so, please contact the application owner to request access.

Notice that the app name in the error message is blank (“does not have access to .”). I am the application owner, so there’s no one else I can request access from. This happens on both the app preview and the editor, even though the app shows up as mine in My Apps.

What I’ve already tried, with no luck:

  • Reloading the page and signing out/in.
  • Opening it with only this account — no other accounts involved.
  • Confirming the app is still listed and owned by me.
  • Opening it via incognito tab.
  • Deleting the app (Doesn’t let me)

My other apps that are Deployed open perfectly fine — this “Access Denied” only happens with this app.

Account: (PII Removed by Staff)
App: Restaurante CodeLess (Prototype, owned by me)

How can I regain access to my own app? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Please contact Support for help with this. Looks like your account or app config may be corrupt.

Hi Steve, thank you for the response, I’m not able to contact support due to my free license.

Is it posible to have a solution with my account being a free license? @Jose_Arteaga

Jose should be able to help.

Thanks Steve!

The issue was finally solved, thanks to everyone involved.

Awesome news!

There was an exception thrown in the backend. The engineering team has taken care of it.
